Our teams are based across London and Dubai, working with clients on both sides — European and UAE markets. This international footprint allows us to combine cultural relevance, creative execution and performance expertise across multiple markets.
As the agency continues to grow, we are building a senior leadership layer to support this expansion. We are looking for someone who can help shape the future of the business, elevate our standards and play a key role in delivering exceptional work across all clients.
Role Overview
We're looking for a senior operator to lead client delivery across the agency and act as the right hand to the Founder & CEO.
This is a pivotal role within Techne, offering the opportunity to take ownership of high-profile client relationships, shape the quality and direction of our work, and build a delivery function designed to scale.
This is not a traditional account management role. You will operate across multiple disciplines — combining strategic oversight, team leadership and hands-on execution to ensure consistently exceptional output. You'll manage the team, own the day-to-day, and be the person who keeps everything moving to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership
Own senior client relationships across our European, UAE and US portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for strategy, performance and escalation
Lead communication and direction across retainers and projects, ensuring accounts are proactively managed
Identify and drive growth opportunities within existing accounts and support new business where relevant
Balance client ambition with operational feasibility — ensuring what gets sold can be delivered
Delivery & Standards
Take full ownership of delivery across all accounts, including the transition from new business into execution
Oversee social media, content production, influencer campaigns, paid performance, and website and editorial content
Define clear processes and pipelines to deliver each scope item to a high standard
Challenge output and hold a high bar for creative and strategic quality across all functions
Understand team strengths and gaps, and step in where needed to support or unblock delivery
Be comfortable getting hands-on when required to demonstrate standards or solve execution challenges
Team Leadership
Manage and develop the social, content, influencer and performance team across London and Dubai
Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for performance and delivery
Provide regular visibility to the Founder & CEO on team performance, risks and priorities
Build a culture of ownership, pace and accountability — shifting the team from reactive execution to structured, proactive delivery
Operations & Problem Solving
Continuously review workflows, resourcing and delivery structures
Identify inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable solutions
Expand and improve the agency's network of vendors, tools and capabilities
Move the team from ad-hoc execution to structured, repeatable systems over time
Growth & New Business
Support the CEO and the Client Growth Manager on new business pitches through strong strategic, creative and operational input
Shape proposals, scopes and pricing aligned with both client ambition and delivery capability
Contribute ideas to improve the agency's offering, positioning and commercial structure
What We’re Looking For
7–10 years in a digital marketing agency environment, with at least 2–3 years at a senior account or director level
Strong working knowledge across social media, content, influencer marketing, paid performance and website content — you don't need to execute everything, but you need to know what good looks like
Proven experience owning client relationships and driving account growth, not just managing delivery
Experience managing and developing junior and mid-level team members
Commercially aware — strong understanding of scope, resourcing and how to protect margin
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, lean agency — this is not a corporate role
Experience working with premium or luxury brands — you understand the standard these clients expect
Based in Dubai with UK market experience, or based in the UK with proven UAE market experience
Highly solutions-oriented, with a bias for action and ownership over process
A Note from the Founder
This role is central to the next stage of growth at Techne across London, Dubai and New York.
I'm looking for someone who can take ownership of client delivery, elevate standards across the team and help build a more scalable and structured way of operating — without losing the pace and quality that defines how we work.
This is not a hands-off or purely strategic role. You'll be expected to lead from the front, bring solutions and step into execution when needed.
