Role Overview 

We are looking for a German-native SEO and content specialist to own search strategy and content delivery across our DACH client portfolio.

This is a hands-on copywriting and SEO role with a strategic dimension. You will write and edit a high volume of German-language long-form content, bring genuine SEO expertise to how that content is planned and executed, and work within an AI-assisted production workflow that we are actively developing into a fully agentic system. You will be expected to contribute to that evolution — not just follow a process.

Alongside the primary content stream, you will support German-language social media for a portfolio of hospitality clients. Over time, this role has clear scope to grow into account management responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities

German SEO Copywriting and Content Editing

• Write high-volume, long-form German SEO content across DE, AT and CH markets, aligned to keyword strategy and client tone of voice.

• Edit and refine AI-assisted drafts for accuracy, clarity, structure, and naturalness — ensuring every piece reads as genuinely written, not generated.

• Publish content in the CMS following Techne's QA and publishing workflow.

• Select appropriate imagery to support article quality where required.

• Maintain consistently high standards across a large content output without compromising on quality.

SEO Strategy and Performance

• Lead keyword research and content prioritisation, ensuring content serves real search intent.

• Monitor SEO performance and use data to continuously improve strategy and output.

• Apply on-page best practices across all deliverables and advise on content architecture where relevant.

• Stay current with algorithm changes and search trends in the German and Austrian markets.

AI Workflow and Tooling

• Work within Techne's AI-assisted content production workflow, using our tools to draft, scale, and improve output.

• Actively contribute to the development of our agentic AI systems — we are building towards a largely automated content pipeline and want someone who can help shape that, not just use it.

• Identify where process or tooling can improve speed and quality, and raise these with the team.

Social Media Content

• Create social media content across a DACH portfolio of clients — including captions, post copy, and short-form creative content — aligned to brand tone and campaign objectives.

• Schedule and publish content across platforms using Techne's content calendar and scheduling tools.

• Adapt content across formats and platforms, maintaining consistency in voice and visual direction.

• Support content calendar planning.

Requirements

• Native-level German with strong written English.

• Proven SEO experience — keyword research, content strategy, and performance analysis are core skills, not background knowledge.

• Strong long-form copywriting ability in German, with excellent judgement on tone, accuracy, and readability.

• Experience producing or managing high-volume SEO content, ideally in an agency or content-heavy environment.

• Comfortable working with AI tools to draft, scale, and improve content at pace.

• Highly organised, self-directed, and able to manage your own delivery schedule with minimal oversight.

• Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset even under volume pressure.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the German or Austrian home services or trades market.

• Experience with CMS publishing workflows and on-page implementation.

• Some client or account management exposure.

• Interest in or experience with agentic AI tools and automation.
